Hello! You have stumbled across a blog written by me, Ellie (Elena Jade Pretty). I am a 20 year old Singer and Actress based in London who is also obsessed with all things Beauty-related.
I previously trained in Musical Theatre at The Royal Academy of Music and am now in the next stage of my career which I like to call 'HELL'. Ok I joke, if it had a name it would be more like 'Eternal Void of Disappointment'.
Ok ok it could have many names. What I am trying to get at is that I'm currently auditioning for various parts in TV and Theatre but haven't actually successfully scored myself a job yet. Therefore I keep having that excitement of 'Maybe this time I'll be lucky, (gettit??) maybe this time I'll win!!'
Then get rejected.
Fortunately, during my training we were constantly reminded of failure and that our chances of getting a job when competing against a bunch of equally-able actors are super slim, so when I entered this phase I was aware of the reality of the situation.
But it doesn't mean it doesn't hurt!! *sobs uncontrollably*
ANYWAY...
